We belong to the Escapees
Boondockers. The Boondockers
have Rendezvous all over the country.
Our first one was in FL a couple of
years ago. Last year in anuary one
was held just off of I-8 on Ogliby Road
which we liked the spot very much.

Home at Cold Springs Campground
We will be hosting at Chickasha National
Recreation Area near Sulphur, OK for the
summer. Not our most pleasant host job
as the summers in the area get 100 degree
temperatures. We got set up on May 27,
getting ready for the Memorial Day crowds
which are always full of visitors. We will be
here through Labor Day. My Granddaughter
got engaged a few days ago and I thought
we better stay close by.

Recreation Area near Sulphur, OK for the

which normally has AZ’s warmest temperatures. We dislike
private parks because they pack you in like sardines. Our
preferred places are National Forest, COE Parks, BLM
land and State Parks. We have hosted in state parks in CO,
GA, LA, SD, AZ and AK. We hosted at Picacho Peak State
Park for 7 winters before retiring from hosting so we could
travel more. This summer we decided to come out of retire-
National Recreation Area near Sulphur, OK. This is our first
time to host for the National Park System.
