About  Us
Gordon grew up in Sulphur, OK where he became interested in photography at a young age.  Also during
these formative years he was active in Boy Scouts and Air Scouts.  After graduating from Sulphur High School
in 1955 he attended OK University for 1 year before entering the Air Force for four years.  As an adult he had
many hobbies:  camping, photography, scuba diving and flying, both model airplanes and real airplanes.  After 41
years in wholesale and retailing he met Marlene on the Internet in 1999 and they began  traveling the US after
marrying in Skagway, AK.

Marlene, a daughter of a United Methodist Minister, grew up in Sough Georgia.  She graduated from  Glynn academy
in Burnswick, GA in 1954 and the University of GA in 1959 with a degree in Elementary education.  In 1972 she
received a Masters degree from Valdosta University. She taught  reading 41 years in GA public schools and South
GA College where she attended in 1954!  She had never camped before she met Gordon in 1999.  Now they are
full time RV’ers.

We have traveled 49 of the 50 states and all the provinces of Canada except Northwest Territory and the island
Provinces on the Atlantic Ocean.  We now reside in our  NuWa Hitchhicker Touring Coach.  We have spend
winter of 2008 in Florida in our time share and camping.  This summer we have not finalized our plans.   Depending
on gas prices we will probity spend most of the summer west of OK boon docking as much as possible.  We love
camping where we are not packed in like sardines which is what most commercial  parks do.  We plan to continue
this lifestyle as long as our health allows us to do so.

“Home is where we park it.”
